Why we've moved to fixed packages

Packaging lets us price competitively. Convivial for GovCMS already ships with the content types, components, and WCAG 2.2 AA conformance that government sites need. We aren't rebuilding the basics on every project, so you aren't paying for them.

Publishing the prices is the other half. You can take a number to your finance team, compare it with other quotes, and plan your budget before anyone books a discovery workshop. No guesswork, and no quote that only makes sense to the people who wrote it.

The three levels at a glance

Each level contains everything in the level before it. Engage adds the DXP (Digital Experience Platform). Transform adds the work involved in replacing a large existing site. The warranty is the same at every level.

Launch

Duration: 4–5 weeks
Suits: Small agency, program, campaign or inquiry site
Includes: Launch gives you a complete, accessible GovCMS website using Convivial as shipped, with your agency's brand applied. It suits a small agency, program, campaign, or inquiry site of up to about 100 pages with one main audience.

Engage

Duration: 6–8 weeks
Suits: Agency site that targets several audiences
Includes: Engage is a GovCMS website with a complete basic DXP, delivered once your branding, content, and approvals are ready. It's the DSP Category 2 Integrated Build and Delivery service (7.2.4), with the same scope, team, and price. There's nothing new to negotiate.

Transform

Duration: 10–14 weeks
Suits: Department or large site replacing an existing one
Inlcudes: Transform is Engage plus the work needed to replace a large existing site. It suits a department or large agency with an existing site to migrate, a system to connect, and components the standard set doesn't cover.
