DrupalSouth Wellington 2026 wrap-up

Morpht had an incredible time at DrupalSouth Wellington 2026 in New Zealand! The event brought together the Drupal community from across Australia and New Zealand for several days of learning, collaboration, and connection, all with the warm and welcoming atmosphere that Wellington is known for.

This year’s conference was held across the Tasman in New Zealand, and Morpht was proud to once again support the community as a Silver sponsor. Events like DrupalSouth continue to be an important opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and contribute back to the open-source ecosystem that powers so many digital experiences.

A special shout-out also goes to Amber Henry, who volunteered as part of the Splash Awards sub-committee and assisted with the awards ceremony during the conference.

Sharing knowledge with the community

Morpht was excited to contribute to the conference program with two presentations from our founders, exploring practical approaches to modern Drupal development, testing, and scalable delivery.

Murray Woodman presented Building a Template for the Marketplace: Challenges and opportunities, which explored the process of building a reusable site template for the Drupal Marketplace.

Celebrating success at the Splash Awards

The Australian and New Zealand Splash Awards ceremony was another highlight of the conference, celebrating outstanding Drupal projects and contributions across the region.

Morpht was proud to receive recognition for several projects, including a win for Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDSAP) in the Design/UX category for mdsap.global.

We were also honoured to receive runner-up recognition in the following categories:

Corporate & DXP: Reef Knowledge System
Government: Reef Knowledge System
