The Defence and Veterans’ Services Commission (DVSC) engaged Morpht to create a new website to communicate information about the Commission's operations and serve as the DVSC's front door.
Morpht developed a contemporary website that is aligned with government standards, in time for the launch of the commission. We led discovery workshops to craft the information architecture. We also delivered datatables to list recommendations, support services, site search and a ‘Quick exit’ button.
The challenge
DVSC had a tight deadline of six-weeks where we had to deliver the website. This meant Morpht had to develop the IA, design the look and feel of the site, as well as develop site functionality and conduct user testing.
The outcome
In the short timeframe, Morpht was able to deliver all project requirements and launch the website.
Morpht was able to deliver high quality work in a tight timeframe. Morpht communicated with the project team frequently and clearly, delivered on multiple phases of the project concurrently, and met all expected standards.
The rigorous approach Morpht took to scoping the project and the effective use of digital collaboration tools, helped define and focus the website’s structure and tone. The Morpht team worked flexibly, exploring options and ideas during the design process, while maintaining clarity about what could be achieved within the scope of the budget and timeframe. This made it easy for the project team to deliver the project on time and to a high standard.
